FONAPS was conceived in 2021 during a period when children in Cameroon's Southwest Region could not access quality education due to the sociopolitical crisis, which had caused widespread school closures. Recognising the urgent need for academic excellence, moral discipline, and character development, the founders began by employing home teachers, and then expanded that vision into creating a full learning institution. In 2023, FONAPS Nursery and Primary School was officially established at High Tension Line, Quarter 1, Liongo Village, Buea.
